BBC Workplace is the national broadcaster’s corporate property division, responsible for the policy, strategy and management of its properties. It has over £1bn of estate under its control.

The challenge facing the Workplace team was a big one: fundamentally transform the estate to meet the demands of a 21st century broadcaster while at the same time keeping it on air. The property portfolio is huge – from Broadcasting House in central London, to Media City in Salford – and everything in between.

Camargue’s role was to create an internal communications programme which explained and built support for the changes, bringing a sense of shared endeavour, trust and confidence. The aim was to deliver an effective internal function that allowed the BBC to do what it does best: make programmes.

"I am pleased to work with Camargue. We benefit from their understanding of CRE issues and their sensitivity to the regulatory environment we work within. They provide advice and support that is valued."
