Sweco is a leading engineering and architecture consultancy. It works on tens of thousands of projects around the world, creating sustainable communities, cities and infrastructure.
Camargue is supporting Sweco’s work with Highways England to deliver a series of nationally significant road improvement schemes for the A47, to improve connectivity in the east of England.
Our brief includes ensuring community and stakeholder consultation activity meets important planning requirements, and development of consultation reports to support Highways England’s applications for Development Consent Orders (DCO) – the permission it needs to construct the projects.
We’re working closely with Sweco, Highways England and other project partners, including Galliford Try and Carter Jonas, to plan and deliver consultation materials and consultation reports across the projects. We’re also providing guidance on and building public and stakeholder engagement mapping to ensure compliance with the Planning Act 2008 as the schemes work towards submitting applications for consent.
