A Remembrance sculpture comprising six giant poppies was unveiled at London’s Waterloo railway station today.
The sculpture was created by Camargue client Interserve as part of The Royal British Legion’s London Poppy Day celebrations. Interserve is a FTSE250 construction and support services group that manages the facilities of many of Network Rail’s major stations, including Waterloo.
Camargue worked with Interserve, The Royal British Legion and Network Rail to coordinate media attendance at the unveiling, which saw journalists, photographers and television crews from the national, regional and trade media capturing this special moment.
The sculpture will now serve as a collection point for public donations and a backdrop to fundraising activities at Waterloo throughout this year’s poppy appeal.
