With work on Crossrail in evidence across the Capital, attention has turned to the impact the new rail line will have on London’s property market once it opens in 2018.
Camargue took the Evening Standard’s Homes & Property team to film behind the scenes at Berkeley Homes’ Royal Arsenal Riverside development in Woolwich, where the first homes to be sold above a Crossrail station were completed.
Over 90 per cent of the properties have already been sold as buyers get ready to benefit from having one of Europe’s largest pieces of infrastructure on their doorstep.
Working in partnership with Crossrail, we were able to showcase the scale and impact that this new line will have in furthering the regeneration of Woolwich. The resulting video coverage offers a clear insight into how connectivity across London will be improved – where it’s halving journey times from Woolwich to Tottenham Court Road or shaving 11 minutes off a trip to Canary Wharf.
