Low Carbon invests in, develops, and operates large-scale renewable energy projects in the fight against climate change.

Our work has been for Gate Burton Energy Park, a nationally significant solar and energy storage project to supply enough clean energy to power over 160,000 homes.

We’ve delivered a DCO programme of pre-application communications, including two stages of public consultation and wider engagement, helping to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and spread awareness of solar’s role in the UK’s energy mix.

We also carried out feedback analysis and developed a consultation report, supporting the application’s acceptance for examination by the Planning Inspectorate.
