Mission Street creates environments for the advancement of science – developing urban-connected, high-quality buildings where occupiers want to be.

‘Fabrica’ in Oxford’s fast-transforming West End is a 180,000 sq ft new build by architect NBBJ replacing former retail premises on Botley Road.  It will be a landmark building that sets the standard for the emerging city science cluster.

‘The Press’ in the Cambridge southern cluster is a part refurbishment, part new build, that updates and repositions a former printing works from 1909 as a cutting-edge new lab facility.  It combines character with quality and heritage with modernity and amenity.

Camargue helped to tell the story for both projects, shaping the narrative, introducing them sensitively and effectively, coordinating pre-application engagement, and building positivity among stakeholders and decision-makers.

Both proposals were approved at their respective planning committees (Oxford City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council).

Mission Street

At Mission Street we bring science into the city and to get the best locations that means unlocking ‘beautifully constrained’ places.

“Camargue’s experience helped to steer both projects with some really high-quality and valuable early engagement. They added impact to our effort and contributed significantly to the success of our excellent project teams.”
