DCO communications for new offshore wind farm
North Falls Offshore Wind Farm is being developed by a joint venture company owned equally by SSE Renewables and RWE. If consented, it will see up to 57 wind turbines constructed in the southern North Sea with the potential to generate enough electricity to power hundreds of thousands of homes.
As a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP), North Falls requires Development Consent under the Planning Act 2008.

Camargue was appointed in 2021 to provide communications and consultation support throughout the pre-application period. This brief was extended in 2024 to cover communications support throughout the examination phase.

Working as a close extension of the in-house project team, Camargue has delivered four stages of consultation, providing a range of varied services from communication materials production, consultation planning and event coordination and management, to political profiling and engagement.

We also managed the design and delivery of all printed consultation collateral, an interactive online consultation portal and hosted a series of webinars.
